i am not sure what they are called or where to get them, but i have seen them before. i am looking for an ATX power extension cable, but with a twist--it makes a 90* turn so that the cables go out at a right angle. the reason why i need it is because i am putting an Epia 800 in an IBM Netvista case and the cables from the power supply are directly under the CDRW drive. if i can get the wires to go out at a right angle, the drive would fit in place--as it is now, the drive cannot sit with the cables shooting out. i figure if i can't find this thing, i can take apart the ATX connector and hand-wire the 20 wires individually, but i REALLY don't want to do that.

I looked pretty hard and couldn't find any leads. Good luck!

thanks mech... i will keep searching too =)

i think the best bet so far is to buy a regular ATX extender and then remove the ATX head, hand-wrap each lead with electric tape and then hand-wire to the board. it is messy but i guess it has to be done if i can't find the angled sucker.

Or heat-shrink tubing, it's tougher and looks nicer (if that counts at all). Good hunting!
