I mean there is no special reason for the MS branded flash drive. Just obtain it seperately and put it on a cheapo USB 2.0 8GB

I think you can even acquire some flash drives from Ebay that have some MS or Windows logo on them for like $12

That assumes that one already has access to a functional Windows machine to create the bootable USB drive.
