Looking for an MP3 player for my sister. I want it to be digital, not those cdplayers that play mp3s (they're bulky and they waste batteries quickly). Nothing too expensive ~$200 max... something small, compact, easy to use, and holds a decent amount of songs. Any suggestions? Thanks.

i've had a rio 64 for 3 years. currently the led doesn't light up and hitting one side of it lightly will turn it off...just a warning.

Doesn't Sony have a MD-player that can be plugged to your PC? It can download mp3's from your computer, convert them to it's ATRAC-format and play them. For all intents and purposes, it IS a mp3-player that uses minidiscs as the media.

get the Nomad II it uses smart media. I'm having a hard time find ing a good mp3 player that uses compact flash.

I am currently using the Olympus DM-1, its a digital voice recorder that also just happens to be a MP3

I have a rio 300 and nike psa, psa is definitly a lot better. Better sound and better battery life, plus it is smaller. I'd recommend it
