Looking For an External Harddrive that is AC Powered

Ultralight

I know Buffalo Technology makes external harddrives that are AC powered as opposed to simply USB powered. The thing is I don't know much about this brand as in terms of reliability. Recommendations please on Buffalo brand or any other brand from your experience and that is AC powered.

I have a WD500 GB one that I've had about a month, it works great. I have a 320 GB Maxtor that's been in service for over a year without a glitch.

My favorite is one that I put together with a cheap ESATA / USB enclosure and a WD Green 1 TB drive.

Thanks for all the replies. After more research I've decided to do what sgrinavi did and put together my own. It will cost less and there are some great deals on Newegg for both enclosers and harddrives.
