(there is no platform independent software forum, so I'm putting this in Off Topic)

I'm looking for an app to keep track of the TV shows I watch.

For example, I just finished House Season 5 and now I'm gonna catch up on Heroes, but I forget which season I left off on.

The platforms I'm willing to use are: Windows, Web app, Facebook, iPhone

And if you need to track TV watching, you watch too much TV.

Quite the opposite. I watch so little TV. It takes me 2-3 months to watch a single season of a single tv show. Its been so long, that I forget where I am in other shows.

You could rate episodes on IMDB after you watch them. Then just look for the first episode that has no rating.

Though with shows that have ongoing plotlines I usually find it easiest to go back to the beginning of whatever season I stopped watching.

Well, I really only need to keep track of entire season.

I don't watch TV on live television. I wait for the seasons to end. Then get the DVDs and watch the entire series through. I'm currently 1-2 years behind on several shows and have no idea where I am.

I watch several shows. Some I haven't seen in over a year. I have no idea where I am in some things.

So, lets stop calling me a moron and find me a cool flashy app to do what I want. :)

I've seen several programs that let you catalog your DVDs. There is a facebook app that lets you add a book to a virtual library once you've read it. I figured something for TV shows would exist too.

Use one of the DVD catalogs, and add shows as you watch them instead of as you buy them.

Start world war 3, bomb the world into a pre-technological state, and then I won't have to worry about keeping track of tv shows?

Maybe if you had the ability to do so, but you don't.

Interesting. Would you like to join my army? I could use people like you.
