Looking for an AGP card - replacing ati 9800 Pro

This is for my bro...he likes gaming, but sticks with the old Tom Clancy series...hasn't moved from these games. His system suits him well, but his old 9800 Pro is giving some problems.

Looking to replace with an AGP card, cheap and quiet. Suggestions? His motherboard is a Shuttle AN35NUltra400 with an AMD 2500+ Barton, 2gb RAM. Those were the days, eh?

X1950 Pro, HD 3850, or 7800 GS if you can find any of them cheap enough (or find them at all). They should all be solid choices, and probably overkill for his processor - but if it's sufficient for his needs with the 9800 Pro, it can't be any worse with the ones I mentioned.

Just be careful, there are PCI-E versions as well as AGP for all of the cards I mentioned.

Anything faster than a X800XT would be wasted with such processor, just get the cheapest midrange card that you can get, like the HD 3650 AGP, HD 2600PRO/XT, X16x0 series etc.
