Looking for an affordable couch/bed for my studio loft apartment...

I have no experience shopping for furniture and I'm broke right now, so I don't want to pay more than I should.

Advice? Recommendations?

I lived in Japan for a while and my place was very very small. While i was there, i had a japanese futon and slept on it. Amazing. You roll them up and put them out of the way during the day for more space. I prefer them to sleeping on a bed.

My new studio here is the states is also very very tiny. However, a japanese futon costs about $300, money I don't have.

So... I found an inexpensive solution because I preferred sleeping on the floor.

These are very comfy, and they roll up for storage during the day so you have more space. I highly recommend them!

I'm not sure either. That's literally all the Japanese I know (enough for a semi-pun nickname). I've never been to Nippon 😉

Thanks for your suggestion, but I think I'll go for the futon. I need something that I can sit on to watch television.

Any "Hot deals" on furniture like this?
