Looking for an affordable 17" LCD

I'm looking for a 17" LCD in the $300 - $400 range. For desktop use only, so the refresh rate is NOT important. I've never heard of a lot of the brands on Newegg, and most of them have very few reviews. Does anyone have some suggestions?

Samsung, NEC, Sony all make nice monitors. But look for the contrast ratio, the higher, the better. You're image will be crisper.
