The best bang for the buck is by far the ECS K7S5A, but its overclocking capabilities are rather limited. But it's supposed to be one of the fastest, very relyable mobo. And for ~$65 nobody can beat that. If you want overclocking most people have suggested the Epox 8k7a (or 8k7a+ if you want RAID), and it goes for about ~$120 (~$140 w/ raid). The Abit KG7 is supposed to be one of the best boards around, but it's also much more expensive (~180 I guess...).
I went for the Epox and just got it (don't have any opinions yet because its barely installed). If you don't want to OC the go for the ECS. If OC is in your plans, then maybe the Epox is a good choice.
Good luck!

The K7S5a seems to have some problems right now. Over at the OCWorkbench forums, people have had problems with floppy drives not copying files correctly and problems booting up on higher clocked TBirds.

you can get the EPOX EP-8K7A+ from newegg for $139 and they have free fedex shipping. That's a good price on an excellent motherboard
