I'm looking for a program for my college newspaper to keep us more organized, preferably some type of online service.

What I am trying to do is have it where news and photo assignments can be given out by the editors where everyone can see what everyone else is assigned to do online

Kind of like Google Sites, but easier to use (we have some dumb people here)

This is what I have now, but I would prefer something a little better (especially with adjustable column width)

I forgot to mention, I want something where I can make like google sites where we can make multiple admins who can post, and then a part of the side which is view only to nonadmins

Sounds like you need a collaboration platform or CMS.

For a collaboration platform, I suggest Sakai. My school (and some others like Rutgers and University of Delaware) use it. It works pretty well and is extremely easy to use.

For a CMS, you can't go wrong with Joomla or Drupal. Both are easy to use.

Seems like that was really just for education (IE they made you use a class) and didn't have what I needed.

Anyone else have a reccomendation?
