Looking for affordable alternative to Logitech z-550 (mine are breaking)

I've had the logitech z-550 for years now and lately they speakers pop and hiss pretty badly. I figure they are close to being dead, or to the point where they will be too irritating to listen to anymore. Right now I dont have them set up in a surround setup so even a nice 2.1 is fine since all the speakers just face me on the desk anyway. Just looking for satellites that can crank decently loud and a sub that sounds at least as good as the 8" this set had....any ideas?
