Looking for advice on a gaming/music headset

I've been doing a lot more gaming on CS:Source and I'm working on perfecting my skill with using sound to locate enemies. I also want to be able to listen to music at medium volumes without lots of noise bothering others around me. I'm currently looking at two different headsets but any recommendations would be great. My major requirements though are good sound quality and how comfortable they are. Thanks in advance.

I'm running Vista Ultimate 32-bit and I'm planning on buying a sound card (no more onboard!)

I originally wasn't gonna buy a sound card but I've decided that it would be a good upgrade.

Personally, I would say skip those headsets and for now the sound card and pick up this. It will sound better (great for gaming and good for music and is closed). Pick up a cheap standalone mic (there's one that clips onto headphones although I don't know where to find it). Later on pick up the sound card, unless of course you can afford it as well right now. You can also consider the Sennheiser HD-280, but I'd say the A500s are better.

That's what I would recommend.
