Was thinking of trying LoTR, just want something to kill time for 1-2 hours a day or so. Was playing COD4 but even that is becoming boring. Any suggestions?

Warhammer is almost out but it's getting mixed reviews so you can always wait, especially how buggy a majority of MMO's are when first released.

Spore is out and if you can survive the DRM and like making creators you can do this for awhile.

A girlfriend 🙂

Sorry, I couldn't resist.
I have one 😛 lol

Its pretty much like I said for 2 hours a day between 4 and 6 I have nothing to do (already hit the gym up in the morning, 6:30 is study groups ect).

I quit WoW a few months back and I'm going nuts. I've already given in to the fact that once WoLK is available in a battle chest, I'm buying it and starting back up for a few months. I still want to try LotR though.

Go for LOTRO. I love it and if you are a fan of the books, you will love it! Quests are far superior to WoW and the graphics can be very imersive. The community is also very mature and helpful. The Mines of Moria expansion is also coming out around November and should deliver quite a few nice things. The game has quite a future ahead of it with all the content that will be coming out.

Another vote for LOTRO +1

i left WoW a few months back to join LOTRO and i couldnt be happier about my decision.

If you are into PVP give Guild Wars a try. Played that for a couple years and the PVP is excellent the graphics still hold up. There also isn't any monthly fee.

WAR if you like a PvP focused game that isn't EVE. If you are a carebear then LOTRO or EQ2 might work for you. If you want to kick the MMO habit then look elsewhere.
