Looking for a wireless router w/ decent range

Alright here's the deal, I'm a college student still living in the dorms and I've decided that I want to bring my PC up to school with me in a few weeks (and then next year again). I currently use a mac laptop and have an xbox also. I'm strongly considering buying a nice wireless router for the dorm this year and apartment in the following years. I'd like something that's going to have decent range and signal strength as the airport cards in powerbooks aren't known for getting great reception. I also have a wireless card in my PC but I'd mostlikely directly wire it and the xbox to the router also. Does anyone have any suggestions for something that might suit my needs. I also should point out that the apartments up here all have concrete walls which kill signals (one reason I want a decent signal). I'd also like to be able to surf in the quad in front of my dorm (directly outside my windown so it would only be maybe 150' line of site. Is this possible or should I just forget about it..? Price range is anywhere under $200ish... but cheaper is always better...

There's a lot of pre-11n solutions out there that I would definitely recommend. Off thet top of my head, there are 2 solutions out, the Belkin Pre-11n and the D-Link DI624M. Both have extended range, although the Belkin has throughput up to 40 mbps using their client PCMCIA card. Linksys also has a new solution out, called the WRT54Gx. Check em out and see what fits best for you.
