Me and a friend are working on a project and are looking for some higher than regular power magnets. We don't want ones that go on a refrigerator. I am not sure of how to measure power of manets. So basically where can I buy magnets from? Online or offline?

Another nod for K&J magnetics. Go for the grade N52 ones. Mine were shipped very quickly and they even included some free samples with my order. Great prices too!

Would you like to power these (electro)magnets with an alternator?

What is that site that has those really powerful magnets? The ones where you have to plan your route with it carefully because it will break any electronics within range and metallic objects will fly to it.
