Having worked at a pretty successful gaming website and running a tournament that some of the best teams in the game (RTCW) played in, I am ready to take the next step. I have tons of ideas circulating in my head about the future of pro gaming journalism, basically the ESPN/ESPN.com of pro gaming. There are several people who are interested, both important and not important. Site design is no problem, but need someone who can code a relativly simple web system. (well simple compared to some of the stuff I see out there) .. It's basically like a News Pro but a little bit more advanced. Anyway, you can e-mail me at phil@ffhockey.com, AIM me at NakaCarolinaBlue or ICQ me at 73293065 if you are interested in working on this site.

P.S. Mods - I hope this is not considered an inapropriate post or spam. I am just looking for a web programmer who is interested in games. I think this is the right forum. If it is considered an illigal post, I'm sorry.

Sounds fun and interesting. What server script language are you planning to have the site done in?

I'm not really sure because I don't know a lot about programming. I'm thinking it's probably Perl or CGI or something like that.

hmm, it does sound interesting. i would suggest you use PHP or something similar instead of Perl/CGI. Are you looking for volunteers or workers ? ;)
