I don't know if this post is allowed, so mods, please lock if it's not.

IF it is allowed, I need a web designer to design a website for a law firm. The details are not all worked out yet but work will likely commence early January and site needs to be up by end of Feb. We prefer a local guys (Los Angeles area) so we can meet in person, but this is not absolutely necessary.

There is no way to estimate even an order of magnitude fee without knowing a lot more detail. Could be anywhere from a few hundred dollars (handful of static html pages) to $40,000 or more (full ASP.net or php project).
