Looking for a way to exhaust hot air from my video card out the back of case..

I recently bought the Accelero X2 cooler for my X1900XTX which works nicely except it doesn't exhaust the hot air out of the back of the case. I've thought about those "slot" type coolers that exhaust but if I put this right beside my video card, I'm afraid that it will counter-act with the fan on the Accelero X2 - i.e. the fan on the accelero X2 may get slowed down since the "slot" fan would be trying to exhaust....

I would like to be able to mount a little fan under my video card on the back of the case to exhaust the air directly out.

I found the following but the arms are too long. If this didn't have the long arms, it would be what I'm looking for. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!!

Put a 120mm fan in the front, and another in the back. Airflow problems solved :p

Proper case cooling makes slot coolers pointless.

This is why I don't like the Accelero. Arctic took a step back in technology with the accelero in my opinion.

Proper case cooling makes slot coolers pointless.
Noise is an issue for many people. Even if you don't care about noise, why wouldn't a slot cooler be favorable? A high performance HSF for a video cards take up 2 slot spaces even if it's not a slot cooler.

make the front intake ur outflow .
rather then pumping air in into the harddrive
pump it out and remove any dust filter install .
and see the difference.

Peace & ciao !!!

Interesting. Never really thought to make my front fan an exhaust fan. Would I then make the rear fan an intake fan or leave it as an exhaust also? Thanks!

I heard an NV Silencer Rev. 3 can be easily fitted onto the X1900's right?

Why not try that?
