Looking For A Video Gaming Magazine

After years of being out of the video gaming loop, I now have a Gamecube!

I'm looking for a video gaming magazine. What's the best one these days? It doesn't have to be Gamecube only.

And no Nintendo Power!
 
I get EGM (you can usually find free subs) and I like it, it's basically the same thing you can find online but it's easier to use in the bathroom than a PC.
 
I had EGM and Gamepro subscriptions when I was in elementary school. I'm not sure I should still be reading them :/
 
Play has really nice artwork and layouts, but I stopped subscribing because their content left much to be desired (Dave Halverson, the EIC and former EIC of GameFan, seems physically incapable of delivering criticism).

Other than that, the best mag since NextGen went under is Edge. It's a U.K.-based mag, though, so U.S. subscriptions are quite pricey.
 
I say just skip the magazines and use websites like IGN or Gamerankings for your news and reviews. Much faster and more timely than the magazines for the most part. Sometimes the magazines get exclusive coverage, but overall you will get your information much quicker via the internet.

Really. Ive seen EGM for free. THAT WOULD BE AWESOME FOR A FREE SUB TO EGN
