Looking for a video card to do this

I am hoping to be able to hook my vid card up to my HDTV in HIDEF.

Is this even feasible?

Or am I just being a noob?

My opinion is that it depends on the adapter. With the right outputs on the card, then I'd say you can. But not just ANY video card. It has to have been designed to have HD-out, the way the ATI HDTV All in Wonder does.
