Looking for a very very very large Case

Welcome to the AT Forums Jay.

Bow Technology ( http://www.bowsystem.com ) used to have some cases like that. IDK if they are still in business - or where you could buy one. Chenbro used to make large server cases too but you have to be Mr. Gotrocks to afford them.

I think the Mountain Mod's U2-UFO's are bad boyzzz...I have never owned one...But I like em !!!

If you want it for a sever case, considering how much a good one cost. Why not just pony up the extra duckies for one of these ???

And if you are into sleeving, lighting, watercooling, overclocking, you name it, this case can do it all...Check out this review.

Now where did that confounded kitchen sink go ???

He wants LOTS of drive space. The UFO is all about appearance rather than drive space. It's puny and a poor value ($$s/drive bay) relative to what the OP is talking about. If it were me, I'd probably stack a batch of Codegen 9000 or Prism series cases together. Hard to beat their $$s/drive bay number... The huge case he mentioned is too expensive because of its limited market.
. And, yes, please tell us the purpose of all this drive space and whether the space you need is for HDs or opticals. You can save $$s by using the CoolerMaster 4x3 box or similar if it's hard drive bays you need.

Guys

I need to put as much HD as possible into a case. We are building low cost Disk to Disk back up system.

Well then, what about the idea of using a mass of Codegen 8000, or 9000 and Coolermaster 4x3 boxes? Should be able to fit 16 to 20 or more hard drives per case using the CoolerMaster 4x3 boxes.

Look for some old AS/400 cases, dont know if you can even find them anywhere but at the bank I used to work at had a couple. One was newer and significantly smaller, the older one was really big, up to about my mid stomach if I remember correctly. Biggest things I've ever seen anyway. I miss my job 🙁 bigger banks picking on smaller banks and making thier shareholders rich 🙁
