I thinking by the end of this year I might have around 600 bucks. But I will get my license in the summer. So i been thinking what if i save around 700-800 and tell my parents go put in around 2-3k so i can buy a car for myself. Im just wondering for aroujnd 2800-3600 What kind of car could i afford? Hoping something like a small pickup or a fast small car.

Wow, you must live in a podunk city or something. I searched autotrader for your ZIP code and didn't find ANY cars in your price range (50 mile radius) from Toyota, Nissan, Acura, or Honda. This was searching for '81-'06 all models. Either their search is borked or people around you don't use autotrader to sell their cars...

Edit: OK, search MUST be borked, I adjusted the price range and checked Ford/Chevy for possible hick factor and still nothing. Wow, after increasing the distance to 200 miles finally got some hits. You must live near people that are scared of teh intarweb.

You might have $600? Wow, you must either make little to nothing or not have a job.

Or be 15 years old?

OP says he's getting his license in the summer...

Oh, see here, you get your permit first (at 16), then your license (eligible six months later).

That's how it was for me too, in Michigan. Only you got your permit at 15, and could get your full license at 16.
