Looking for a USB -> Wireless -> USB hub

I've found a few solutions, but nothing recent, and many require weird drivers for old operating system. There was this once upon at time: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wireless_USB

Specifically I'm looking for something that can take a real USB connection (no matter the device) and send that connection in its entirety to another transceiver - just like a regular USB hub, but without the wire from the host to the hub; radio instead.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi corkyg, no that's not what I'm looking to do. An example would be to take a USB Joystick and connect it to a PC via radio, say Bluetooth (whatever has sufficiently low latency and proper bandwidth).

Yea, don't think anything exist. The 2 boxes would need to be proprietary (a wireless connection that isn't bluetooth or wifi, but most likely on the 2.4ghz spectrum) and the bandwidth would probably suck.

Wireless USB was more or less bluetooth. The device itself would be wireless and connect to a Usbwireless receiver on the pc. It just failed to take off.

There is not much you can do to make something wires become wireless. Just see if a bluetooth or wifi version was created.
