Looking for a universal power adapter/cord for a notebook....

hey all - i've got an older compaq notebook (circa 2000) which no longer has its power cable.

the advice i was given was to find one of those universal notebook power adapters - can anyone offer up a suggestion of a good one, and one that is easily available to find?

Targus has one that works for car & wall power.
Kensington I'm sure also makes universal adapters

You can also find older (but new) power bricks for specific brand laptops on EBay. But - I go along with the Targus. It has tips that fit any laptop and is good for A/C, air and auto. I have one and have used it in all three modes for about 3 years now.
