Looking for a TV/ Monitor

Hi all,
My g/f is looking for a TV that she can use to play the Wii, and we found a 27" Olevia LCD for about $450 at CompUSA. However, she would also like to use this as a monitor for her Macbook, when she is not using the Wii, since she doesn't have a cable TV connection in her room. What would be the best possible solution to accomplish this goal? Can we get this TV and just buy a connector for her macbook? Or would the quality of the mac on the LCD not be good? Should she get a slightly smaller monitor (like a 22") that would double as a TV? Any thoughts? Here is a link to the TV on CompUSA:
