Looking for a TV/Monitor combo. any recommendations?

my sony TV just died on me and i was thinking of getting a LCD tv that will double as a gaming/HDTV monitor as well. thinking of getting one ASAP so please help as i can't stand not having a boobtube/idiotbox for very long and would like to get an idea of a good unit to get.

thinking 1080P, 120Hz, 36" or bigger.

i would really like some input from AT members who has this setup and what brand of tv they would recommend.

Price range? I think a 42" should be good - not a whole lot of 1080p sets below that size.

I myself like Samsung, Sony and LG. You will definately want 1080P! as for model I do not have one off the top of my head. If you want 120hz. Sony will be the W series, samsung would be 6 series or better and LG I am not sure about. Not sure if this helps any, but I tried
