Looking for a trackball

I have carpal tunnel so I am looking for a trackball. The larger the ball the better. Any recs?

Logitech used to have one I loved a long time ago, but it is no more. :-(

This is a nice trackball. I used to use it to place games with.

That doesn't sound right. I just bought a cordless Logitech Trackball device called the Cordless Optical Trackman. I have a couple of corded ones as well, and TTBOMK, at least two of that type are still being sold. You got hold of another liar at some retail outlet, is all. Logitech's balls are as big as any you can get. I also have a Microsoft trackball, but it is far less comfortable to use than the original versions from Logitech, and I seldom used it after trying it out.

Check eBay for a Logitech Trackman Marble FX. I believe they are no longer made. None better.

Here's Logitech's trackballs page. Four kinds. The "Marble Mouse" is just about the perfect trackball, with the exception of lacking a "wheel" anywhere. I'd love to have this one in a cordless version! The only thing about my corded one I wish was better is the finish. Some of that is coming off after only a year.

You need to decide if you want a track ball that you move w/ your thumb or fingers, for Thumb Microsoft has various good ones, otherwise I'd suggest pretty much Any of the larger Kensington models like Kensington Turbo Mouse Pro USB Trackball, Model "64214" -RETAIL for example, it even has a scroll wheel.

i too have a neurological disorder / repetitive motion injury (not cps) and have found the logitech trackman wheel to be most comfortable. i found that moving my thumb was better for me than those other ones where the ball is centered.

Agreed. I don't understand why logitech stopped making it.
