Today, I'm going to roam around Southern California
looking for a temp job.

I'm currently considering, Best Buy, Fry's, Circuit City,
and stores like those.

I'm also looking at department stores: Macy's, Sears, etc.

If anyone could hook me up I'd really appreciate it! =D

BTW, I'm in Irvine, California.

Given today's expanding computer industry, a job at Circuit city, or other electronic superstore seems like a great way to get started. Though I must warn you that their pay rates are not that great.

Though, in any sales, retail field you must be willing to put up with a lot of bitchy people. Including your boss.

...hope boss is does not read anandtech.

If you have any decent amount of PC skills, I have two words for you:

Tech Support

It will pay 30 - 50% better than any retail job, plus you'll be gaining valuable experience as opposed to trying to convince Grandma that she really does need a 1.5 gig P4 to e-mail her grandchildren.
