So what I'm looking for is a cheap tablet PC. I don't mind if it's used as long as it's in good working condition. I need something primarily for browsing the web, taking notes and Photoshop. I would like something however that could do basic 3D Studio Max. Also, if possible I would like something that is at least 1.5GHz and 1GB of RAM maybe 2GB. Also, I would like if it had a built in DVD Burner, but at least DVD Reader. Now I'm looking for something around $500. But cheaper is always better. I'm looking at the Toshiba M200 and those go for about $350 but I'm looking for something a bit faster than that. Also, I'm not sure if its Wacom Penabled but if there is one that is I'd really like that.

It's possible that you could find an HP TX2000 used within your price range, although they might not get quite that low. I know best buy puts them on sale for 800-900 fairly often, so I'd imagine you'd have a pretty decent chance of finding one. The TX2000 uses a fairly new Turion X2 and has a Wacom digitizer. Unfortunately I'm not too familiar with older tablets as I've just recently gotten into the loop.

Edit: The M200 does have an active Wacom digitizer.

and gateway C series starts at $700 but those are both well over his budget (that the gateway is a dual core, but not c2d)

after a look around in fs/t and on ebay (and i just spent a month pricing laptops on top of that) ill be surprised if the OP can do better than a Pentium M tablet given his budget., but he might get one with a Dothan cpu which would be a bit better than a regular pentium m (the dothans start with pentium m 7XX series name)

good luck
