Looking for a sub and center that will match what i already have

as the topic title says, im looking for a center channel and sub that will compliment my current system. i have 2 pair of mirage frx-7's, a yahama rx-v2300 receiver, and all z series monster wire. my room is pretty small, but i want to plan ahead and get something that will fill a decent sized apartment.

for the center channel, i want something that will blend with the mirage sound. i considered the frx-c, but all the reviews ive read basically said that that center didnt exactly live up to the quality of the rest of the frx series.

for the sub, something that pounds like nobody business would be nice

thanks

You don't need to match a subwoofer to your mains. Only your center and mains need to be sonically match. If you have Mirage FRX-7s then you pretty much need to get the center that matches it. It's a good bet that nothing else out there will match it perfectly.

BTW-Monster wire is a waste of money. There are brands that are equal quality for much less.

i thought the same, but i upgraded from thx certified moster cable to the non-thx certified z series monster cable on my mains, and i noticed a nice differance.
