I recently purchased a budget Windows 8 tablet. It is the ASUS T100TAM, which I got on clearance for $170. I am interested in using a stylus to take notes on it. Most of the styluses that I see on Amazon / eBay do not seem to be very precise. I don't mind spending a little money (under $70), but I would like to know what my expectations should be.

So I would like to know.
- Is my tablet capable of using a good stylus for handwriting in OneNote / Evernote?
- Are there any quality sub-$70 styluses that the Anandtech community recommend?

I've tried researching this on various websites, YouTube, etc. but I cannot seem to find answers to these questions.

Edit: Sorry, got my models confused.

The Transformers don't have active Wacom or N-Trig digitizers, so you are unlikely to find anything that is super precise that would be ideal for drawing.

For handwriting, any passive/capacitive stylus might be okay, but you don't get pressure sensitivity. If pen input matters more than a keyboard, you should look at (if you still have the option) something like the Dell Venue 8 Pro or the ASUS VivoTab Note 8.

Capacitive pens like the Jot always seem to get mixed reviews at best. There might be a better option out there, but to me it's worth it to pay for the Dell or ASUS tablets with active pen digitizers, as they are not much more ($200 to $300 range, though you can find them for less on sale or used) and include a pen. I had a VivoTab Note 8 and was pleased with how good it was for OneNote.
