Looking for a strong adhesive to glue metal to PVC

Leros

Lifer
I need to attach a peice of metal (i think brass) to a PVC pipe. The peice of metal will be inserted into a hole in the side of the pipe. What kind of glue would be good for fixing it in place?

The only thing that came to mind was Weld-on. Any better ideas?

Something like that.

The peice I'm trying to put in the pipe has a thread and nut, but the pipe is almost the threads dont reach through the pipe's wall.

I'm not sure how strong it needs to be. Probably doesnt need to be that strong because it cant fall out of the pipe, but it could fall into the pipe.

Tap and thread it.
Whatever it is you're doing, folks will need to know what the application is to recommend the right way to approach it.
