The only thing that would affect what icon a .iso file has is what program is associated with it, not the converter involved.

Anyway, if the .bin is data only (i.e. no sound tracks) just rename it to .iso and it should work fine.

What are you trying to burn the .bin file with? Why not just use Nero and burn image (it accepts .cue files so it will burn .bin files), or just try CdrWin?
