I use SpamBayes with Outlook and like it a lot. However, the rest of my family uses Outlook Express to manage their email and SpamBayes is not designed to work with Outlook Express. Any recommendations on a good spam filter that works with OE and is relatively inexpensive? (free would be nice :) )

Thanks!

Mailwasher. Give it a try you might like it. :)

[edit]

Question. Might be dumb but here goes. "Why can't you get an e-mail program that doesn't download messages from the server, but deletes/bounces them if the email address is not in your address book?" Would work far better for me. :frown:

you could add a rule in outlook to do that.

I agree, but you probably need to run SpamAssassin Proxy(SAproxy) for your system unless you have access rights to your SMTP/POP3 server to install SpamAssassin on it. SAproxy runs on your client computer and acts as a proxy.
