Hi,
I'm currently looking at soundcards for my rig as I want to step up from onboard audio. My rig is mostly for gaming and music. I've been looking at the HT Omega Striker 7.1 at newegg and I wanted to see what everyone's opinions were on that card? How are the Vista 64-bit drivers for it? I had also looked at Creative's Soundblaster XFI Xtremegamer but I heard a lot about Creative having horrible drivers especially for 64-bit and rig's with 4GB of memory. I also don't care for any bloated drivers. Which has left me looking at the Striker 7.1. I'm up for any more suggestions around that price range though, thanks!

damn that sound card looks sexy. hows the quality/features of this compared to x-fi's

Lower in pretty much all the scientific SQ tests. It's only feature that makes it worth looking into for some is the PCI-E interface.
