Looking for a software to replace Gemstar GUIDE Plus.

I hate Gemstar GUIDE Plus, it rarely works properly and ATI's support sucks! I currently again cannot download the channel listing (ATI's knowledge base syas the fiel may not be available from GUIDE Plus). Does any one have a better way out there? Thanks!!

I looked at Sage TV and Beyond TV. Both are vast improvements over ATI's sucky GUIDE PLus. I wasn't able to use either due to other problems (sound card and sound system type problems). I've recently made some changes to my system and may try them again and see if they're any better. If that works I'll look for a better way to play DVD's than ATI's also sucky DVD Player. M$ WMP10 works but the picture quality is not great.)
