I'm looking for a small (7-10 inch) display that meet the following criteria:
1. I need the display to be bright enough to be visible in broad daylight
2. Thickness is not an issue, but the thinner the better
3. Power consumption is not an issue
4. Needs to be relatively easily connected to a PC
5. Affordable for a hobby project. (couple hundred at most)
I can't find many displays that meet my requirement though I think OLED displays may fit the bill. If I could connect an OLED based picture frame to a computer without TOO much hardware modification that would most likely be ideal.
