Looking for a small bar to hold whiskey/glasses

I'm looking for the hidden bar cabinet or end table and can't seem to find what I'm picturing. If I search Wayfair or Amazon all I see are those stupid globes.

If I find a bar cabinet, 99% of them seem to have storage for wine bottles in the open... I don't want that either... It's too obvious. I'm trying to find a small table with a cabinet door or two that can hold four lowball glasses and maybe 3-4 bottles of scotch and perhaps a small revolver for dueling.

Any ideas on which companies might sell such a thing?

I figured I'd bump this thread. I'm still trying to find something for this purpose that looks good. Since I posted this, I have a 55" TV, area rug, desk, and recliner in that space. It's a 750 square foot room, so now all I need is booze and maybe a small couch.

How the hell isn't Batman able to find a proper bar for his fancy man space?

Anyway, what you want is one of those badass globe bars. That's what you want.

Personally I would recommend some discreet but nice quality. Something like a hutch like below.

I would also HIGHLY recommend not buying such a piece from the likes of Wayfair - and would instead opt for a furniture store.

It's all made in China nowadays anyway...

Still, I say that because I bought a bar thing from Bed Bath and Beyond or some general cheap retailer and it was total crap.

It was literally made a shit wood, very thin - and within a few months had some many chips and dings in it that it just looked horrible - and after assembling you could just tell it was cheap junk.

In our new house I just decided to totally do away with buying junk Ikea equivalent stuff.

Also the hutch I pictured above... Sold by a guy locally that always proclaims the furniture is made in America so there is that.

yeah, in general it's best to avoid box furniture. I mean, it has its purposes, but in the end its always the most wasteful "let's create more useless, cheap junk to "throw away" (hint: it's never thrown away) that would be better replaced with a proper piece of furniture that will last forever. (but people hate forever! what if I want to redesign my house next year and then the next and the next so that I stay HGTV trendy?! Only box furniture will work!)

Go to local home reclaim warehouse, antique or "vintage" store and get something with some life, often for rather cheap.

Also, I think OP has narrowed his search or doesn't know what to search for. As you suggested, looking for a hutch or just a cabinet or "end cabinet" should suffice. People tend to just make things do what they want them to do. Just because you use it as a "bar cabinet," doesn't mean it was designed as a bar cabinet....

To be honest - especially with stuff like that Hutch I pictured above... That's a piece of furniture that will never go out of style. It's modern looking - yet has the "classical" feel as well that comes with any furniture that is just 100% stained wood. No, it won't be some kind of divine new retro rustic style that stupid young millennials like - but to be honest everyone with half a brain will grow out of that phase of thinking at some point (I hope).

I just remember my parents furniture growing up - and those same pieces still stand there today and they are still perfectly within style.I hate the concept of buying furniture for a 1 - 4 year investment depending on how durable it is. I want that shit to look damn the near the same 30-40 years later.
