Looking for a slick way to do it... Any advice is welcome

I need some ideas or examples of cool web interfaces for my collection of mp3's.

I have an apache served webpage. I have linked the collection of files to my site but the interface is pretty crappy... it looks like the directory tree of folders and files you see in FTP sites, not very good looking.

So I've been searching around for an app that will make a cool interface for me to dl the files while at work or share with mi amigos.
The closest to what I want is here (login/pass are 'demo')

I like the interface and the way the files are arranged and organized. The only thing lacking is a way to mark files for download and put them into a zip file before downloading. The reason I want to have this is so I can avoid having 20 or 30 download dialog boxes open at the same time when I decide to download them. Don't reallly care about compression, just want it to be 'slick'.

So, has anyone out there seen an impressive method for file display and interface for a collection like this? At this point its really clunky and not very pretty. I want something that is in the 'ultra' category.

I'm always trying to learn new stuff and I think if I have to break down and learn perl or something I might do it for this project.

don't even see the point.
just get an ipod or external drive. i mean why are you even doing this?

between bandwidth and legality i doubt you want to do this....and if you do, stick with FTP.
