Looking for a sample of coding for an ecommerce site for either win2k or linux or both

Learning from mistakes, eh?

If you knew how most e-commerce sites were put together, um...... lets just say the idea of using one for "learning purposes" has a lot of humor value.

I have taken some small ones apart already and a friend owns an ecommerce business so I am familiary with the issues alot of people see when putting them together, I just want some to take apart. But thanks for the post and glad to make you laugh.
 
The Pet Shop is probably the more famed example. Another commonly referenced one is FMStocks.

Note that FMStocks is just a Microsoft example, but there are Java and .NET implementations of the Pet Shop.

 
checkout macromedias training site...they got a few neat ones they use during their presentations and seminars...i cant find any offhand but i know they are there 😛 most are flash oriented however mind you...
 
I know i've seen some PHP shopping cart scripts on the web ... I haven't disected them, and I only know a little PHP ... but those may give you some insight.
