looking for a router that can play and host a game

I currently have the netgear WGT624v2 router, and it is horrible for gaming, it reboots irregularly and it is incapable of hosting any games. The router seems to have heating issues and reboots irregularly but interestingly only when i game, not for normal web and file transferring tasks however this problem has gotten on my nerves so now i have an eye on the WHR-G54S. I would like to know if possible if anyone can confirm that this router can definately host and play AoC without any issues? Im pretty sure the dlink gaming router is a sure thing for this, but too expensive.

thanks for any input

You won't likely get anyone to say this will positively cure your needs as every situation is different. I can say that the WHR-G54S has a built in heatsink (no other soho router that I know of has this) for cooling purposes and is from a VERY reputable company. I'd say for $40, try it out, anything's better than the crappy netgear you have now.

thanks for the reply i will most likely end up trying the buffalo, would like any input if it can host games, but seems no one can comment on this
