Looking for a replacement mobo for my Dell Dimension 4600

My motherboard was zapped by lightning the other day and I'm looking to get a decent replacement for it. I've been told that many micro ATX boards will fit the case, but what is good out there? I'm willing to buy a refurb and looking to spend no more than $60. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Ascendtech, Inc. sometimes carries a few Intel boards with the Dell bios and front proprietary connector for Dell cases. Otherwise, check ebay, or change cases and go with a regular atx board. Newegg has refurbs starting at about $32, but unless you're willing to do some splicing and cutting on your dell case, I would look for the same board. For what Dell charges for a replacement, you could almost get one of their $299 specials.

I'm sick of this Dell Proprietary BS! I can't even find a 4600 mobo anywhere, except eBay... and its in France. Anyone have a good case and ATX motherboard suggestion so I can just put together something new?

Check newegg.com or Fry's, if you have one in your area. Antec makes some decent cases with 300-350w power supplies for around $75. For socket 478 boards, I like the Intel 865pe chipset, which has worked well with an msi board. Mine is discontinued, but a similar model is still made.
