Looking for a replacement for my stolen A650IS...S90, G11, ???

Don't know which way to go. I liked my variangle viewfinder and the long zoom for a compact, but it seems newer cameras are doing more with less.

Anyone have this camera and upgraded? Any other bang for buck options out there?
 
A650 was basically a G series in a plastic body with some features locked away. the G11 is the closest successor. S90 is a good replacement as well.

Much better camera than the 650IS, it retains the articulate screen, and it's got much better ISO response. It's also roughly the same size as the lost camera, and you're only take a small hit in zoom capability (5x vs the 6x on the 650IS).

The s90 is a fantastic camera, but it would seem like a downgrade. And you don't get much zoom, either (3.5x).
