I currently have (according to Belarc Advisor)

Board: Intel Corporation D845GEBV2 AAA97677-104
Serial Number: BQBV25011151
Bus Clock: 133 megahertz
BIOS: Intel Corp. RG84510A.86A.0033.P17.0307141128 07/14/2003

and the Processor is(according to Belarc Advisor)

2.40 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4
8 kilobyte primary memory cache
512 kilobyte secondary memory cache

And the two memory slots are filled with (according to Belarc Advisor)

2048 Megabytes Installed Memory

Slot 'J6G1' has 1024 MB
Slot 'J6G2' has 1024 MB

Everything is working perfectly. According to Intel I cannot upgrade the memory past the 2GB total.

I am looking to purchase another motherboard to replace this one. With the new motherboard I want to be able to use my current CPU Memory, Power Supply, IDE ATA Drives, etc... AND the new board needs to be able to go above the 2GB memory limit. Does anyone have a motherboard recommendsation that meets these requirements?

If you need more detail about the components does anyone have a way to get this additional detail without having me remove components (e.g. the speed of the memory)

If you need more specs on the motherboard I currently have plase visit

Motherboards.org link to D845GEBV2
Intel Link to D845GEBV2 Motherboard

The reason I am not replacing the motherboard, CPU, memory, Power Supply, Case, etc... is to try to keep costs down especially since everything is working fine jsut a little slow when I open a lot of documents.

Any 865PE/G or 875P chipset-based board should have 4 RAM slots, that would work for you. Just watch out for micro-ATX boards, they are usually smaller and only have 2 RAM slots. You're looking for a S478 board, right?
