If you absolutely do not plan on buying a PCI-E system within the next year, a new card would be in order, but if you do want a PCI-E system sometime in the near future, you should overclock your 9700 pro and hang in there. I'm also using one, and I am very suprised at how powerful it is still, but If you're looking for a new AGP card though and have your mind set on it, I would reccomend this very good deal in a 6600GT at newegg,

here. Either one of those cards will be faster than a Radeon 9700 pro. And the cost isn't that bad if you plan to stick with your current system. Good luck choosing
