Ok, here is what I need the board to do:

Support Celeron II 600
Support ATA66
AGP slot
A few PCI slots
On board sound

I won't be overclocking, this is just for some cheap workstations.

I originally picked the Abit VA6. It met the criteria at a great price ($65.- ish). But the after owning several great Abit boards this one let me down big time. The sample board I have will NOT work at 100FSB (kinda stable at 66). I have one unlocked PII 333, it can be set from 266/66 to 400/100. After my PIII 600 couldn't even install windows I used this chip to hunt through the BIOS Chipset settings to see if anything would give. Nothing would give, RAM that has run for years at 100 on my BH6, nor a stick of pc133 would bring any stability to to the VA6.

So I conclude, VA6 = unstable crap
Now I need something cheap, yet reliable, with very similar specs

Thanx in advance for any recommendations
