Looking for a recommendation for a good electronics store (other than BB or Futureshop) in Toronto -GTA

Looking to buy this TV but unfortunately all the big guys (BB, Futureshop etc) have it only for MSRP of CDN$4500. In US i was able to find the same TV for as low as $2700 (~CDN$3500) and was wondering if anyone here knew of a smaller shop that might offer lower prices!

My only advice is that Futureshop has the 50 (or was it 51?) Samsung DLP for not a whole lot more. Worth it IMO.

Trying to get my parents to buy it. They want the RCA DLP 🙁

That's a pretty damn expensive TV. The RP CRT alternatives are way cheaper and offer almost as much video quality.

From what I've experienced first hand the regular RP CRTs are more dim and have way more narrow viewing angle which I didn't find experiencing the Samsung DLP.

Quite honestly, uptill i saw the samsung DLP, i would never have believed anything could even come close to CRT TVs (particularly Sony Wega) but that DLP simply blew me away.

I mean totally blew me away.

I am not all the visually sensitive so it takes a great deal of difference for me to notice but those samsungs were really much better!

And here is the kicker. The 43" weighs 67 lbs !!! the 40" Wega is ~400 lbs. Heck even my 21" CRT Monitor is close to 90 lbs.

This TV is still way out of my budget but unfortunately no other TV looks good now! 😱

kromer radio? or east hamilton radio? I've never tried any of these places but they're the ones that pop into my head (advertising works!).
