Hello All,

I saw this in the Seattle Times or Seattle P-I; Kenmore Camera is selling closeout Rebel XTs with a canon 28-90 lens (craptastic, I'm sure). For anybody that's interested, here's the link to the shop: http://www.kcamera.com/. The ad is in the lower left corner on the front page.

I have a Rebel XT; great, inexpensive camera. Sell the craptastic kit lens and buy a 50mm f/1.8 II; you'll be surprised with the quality.
 
The price is competitive. Remember, the XT is a 2005 vintage camera. It was followed by the XTi, and now the XTs. It is a decent buy at that price.
 
Check Craigslist, I grabbed my used XT and EF 50mm f/1.8 for $190. Lots of people are upgrading to newer bodies, especially now that the instant/mail-in rebates are active on the current generation.
