Looking for a quiet 2-4TB hard drive

It turns out that my Seagate 7200rpm 3TB hard drive (pulled from an external case) is the loudest part of my build. I unplugged it and the difference was noticeable but I still need the storage. I'd like to go with a minimum of 2TB but I think nowadays I might as well get 4TB if the qualities are the same. Performance wise, I can let that go since it's just my storage, downloads and torrenting drive. Although when I seed for torrents, it's usually about 5-8 torrents at a time, does 7200rpm relate to that at all?

Torrents don't need speed, you could easily get a slower RPM drive just for torrents and not notice the difference.

I would recommend WD Red, quietest drive I have ever used. The greens I used before were pretty quiet too but you could still hear the familiar crunching sound when writing. The reds are just completely silent.

They're also pretty fast with writing/copying large files but I wouldn't try using them for games/programs (haven't actually tried, it might be workable but acces time is high).

I have a Green in 24/7 AV recording in my master bedroom closet. I can hear it writing when I'm trying to sleep...

i read that the WD Reds have better anti-vibration technology and the lower rpm helps keep it quiet. With the Greens being audile during writes, I think the Reds will be a good choice.
