I have a WinXP Pro tower and a Vista laptop. On my tower, I've moved XP's quick launch bar to the top of the screen and it works really well there in "always on top and autohide" modes. That is EXCEPT when I go to click on the minimize, restore-down or close buttons at the top right corner, often I overshoot and the quick launch bar covers those buttons. Then I have to move away and then carefully click the button I want. It would be perfect if the bar could be resized so that the right side is to the left of those buttons so that the bar cannot be enabled by overshooting.
Is there a quick launch program that autohides the bar but lets the user resize the bar to avoid inadvertent enabling?
If a program like that exists, then it could also work on my Vista laptop since Vista does not allow undocking it's quick launch bar.
Thanks,
Sky
